A good chunk of roadside calls don't need a truck at all — just someone to turn up and sort the problem where the car sits. Flat tyres, flat batteries, lockouts, running dry on fuel — if it can be fixed roadside, we'll try that first before we talk about towing.
If it turns out the car does need to come off the road, we're already there with a truck, so there's no second call and no second wait.

Do I need to know exactly what's wrong before I call?
No — just tell us what the car's doing (or not doing) and where you are. We'll work out the rest when we arrive.
